Modern man thinks he loses something - time - when he does not do things quickly. Yet he does not know what to do with the time he gains, except kill it.

About This Quote

When you wake up in the morning, do you start work immediately? What is the purpose of your day? The purpose of your life? If your answer is “I sit at home all day” then you are probably not living the life that God has planned for you. Taking long breaks from work or school are not necessarily a bad thing, but if you are not getting back to what was once useful to you, then there is little point in doing it. Work should be something that keeps us busy and makes us feel better about ourselves. If we have nothing to do, then despair will eat away at us until we do something. When we feel so empty that we need to fill ourselves with activity, then our spirits are lifted and we begin to live again.
